During my project with TofuInc design company in Tokyo, Japan ( https://tofuinc.jp ), working for Xitan Hotel in Beijing, i created more then 10 artworks for all place. My second art work was for the Tea Drinking Ceremony room. I was looking into different ways how to express the combination and relation between steam, dried leaves and water. I also wanted to show the beauty of the tea plant flower/Camellia sinensis(L), that most of us, who drinks the tea, might not eve know how it looks like.
Xitan Hotel is in Beijing in China, next to Tanzhe Temple, build by Zhejiang Cathaya International co ltd.
This artwork has been specially designed for the Tea Drinking Ceremony room, printed on silk and embroidered by hand.
